Eliza devotes her life to sharing her love and knowledge of dressage and eventing with her students, both equine and human.
From the tender age of two, Eliza entered her first show. She started in the lead line division and has been showing ever since.
Eliza began eventing at sanctioned events when she was ten with her first horse, Bantry Bay's Devon, a Connemara/Thoroughbred cross. Eliza and Devon had a very successful career together and competed through Preliminary eventing and 4th level dressage.
Eliza has been training horses seriously since she was 15. She passed her MA riding license exam at the earliest age possible, 18.
Eliza takes her time and pays careful attention to details to help her students understand what they are feeling and learning. She excels at working with young and green horses, teaching them how to carry themselves and enjoy the competition ring.
Eliza thoroughly enjoys working with all breeds but has a special fondness for Connemara ponies and crosses. Currently, Eliza competes her own 8 year old Connemara/Thoroughbred Bantry Bay's Dublin at the Intermediate level, and 8 year old Connemara Bantry Bay's Jamie at the Novice level, owned by Bantry Bay Farm.
